Forest based composites for façades and interior partitions to improve indoor air quality in new builds and restoration

Enar is a leading technological façade consultancy that was set up in the year 1999 to give response to the needs of both architects and developers to enhance building technology and the design of nontraditional façades adding the most value in the execution of each project. The consulting firm is managed by architect Jesús M. Cerezo who has acquired experience for more than 20 years in façades engineering and abroad spectrum of knowledge in such field. ENAR can offer a wide range of services such as façade design and engineering (materials specification and testing), Consulting, Technical assistance, and run specific façade projects.

Work performed to date fits into the categories previously described, being the most predominant activity the development of specific façade projects, for either office buildings, housing, hotels or special buildings; complete restoration of facades can be included in this group as well. We have also taken part in architectural competitions in partnership with various teams of architects.

In the field of technical assistance, ENAR can act as a consultant to architects, developers, building contractors and project managers in relation to the projects they are involved in, both in the project development stage and during the building process, including on-site physical follow up.

Furthermore, ENAR complements its service and professional activity with research projects and disclosure in several nation-wide Masters as well as in conferences and lectures, workshops and publications.

Role in the project

Leader of the work package 7 “Demonstration and monitoring”. They will collaborate with Tecnalia, Bergamo and UNstudio defining the characteristics in WP 3 and the designs of the new systems in WP6.
