BGTECNO is an SME working in the area of prefab envelope solutions and curtain walls, including window and prefabricated window modules since 1996. We have Headquarter in Łódz, Poland. The Polish operations are focused on innovative prefabricated solutions integrating windows, integrating specialized architectural technological features. BGTECNO immediately stands out for competence, professionalism and quality standards. The Evolution within the Company is fast and continuous, and the work processes avail themselves with the most advanced technological equipment. Their twenty years of experience matured in separate branches, proved to be complementary and opened for them the door of introducing the vision of Total Service in the Domestic Construction Field and allowed the export of their experience abroad, with the execution of important and high standards projects in Russia, Ukraina, Germany, Middle East and Africa.

BGTECNO is currently involved with D’Appolonia S.p.a., Fraunhofer, SP, SINTEF, Tecnalia and other major European stakeholders in FP7 project related to Systemic Approach for retrofitting of residential buildings, including envelope upgrading, high performance lighting systems, energy-efficient HVAC systems and renewable energy generation systems (RETROKIT project).

The project will increase BG TECNO’s brand in energy efficiency themes in Europe. The project will be an experience to improve the BG TECNO’s knowledge in buildings retrofitting innovation in term of energy consumption and structural solutions.

Role in the project

They will be in charge of construction the envelope and interior partition products (WP7). They will also collaborate with Tecnalia, ENAR and UNStudio defining their characteristics in WP3 and designs in WP6.
